Broadcast Community Comings and Goings

by | Aug 23, 2018

According to dcrtv,  three changes are in the works in the broadcast community:

9’s Jan Jeffcoat To LA -Channel 9/WUSA news anchor Jan Jeffcoat, shown above, is headed for Los Angeles so her husband, Matthew Kinsley, can continue to grow his TV agent business. Earlier this year, Jeffcoat helped launch the Tegna-owned station’s new morning show, “Get Up DC,” with comedian Reese Waters.

Mike Moss Goes Fulltime On Westwood One News – Former WTOP news anchor Mike Moss becomes a full-time news anchor on Westwood One News. He joined the organization as a part-time anchor and fill-in guest host earlier this year.

Jessob Reisbeck To 7 – Jessob Reisbeck joins Channel 7/WJLA as a news anchor for “Good Morning Washington.” He starts September 17. He comes from WITI-TV in Milwaukie. Before that, Reisbeck worked at TV stations in Syracuse and Fresno.

And, as reported in another Capitol Communicator post, two broadcast operations are planning to move to new locations.  Details here.
