Chase Communications, a boutique public relations and marketing communications firm co-headquartered in San Francisco and Washington, D.C., with additional representation in Chicago, New York City and Tampa has been acquired by LEVICK, a D.C.-based public relations firm.
Julie Chase, a native of Washington, D.C., founded Chase Communications in 1997 to provide marketing communications and public relations services to primarily real estate and healthcare clients. In 1991 she had moved to San Francisco to become the executive editor and associate publisher of Commercial Property Guide, an investment property publication. In 1993, she opened the San Francisco office of Belgravia Capital, a commercial mortgage banking company headquartered in Irvine, Calif., and later co-founded ePlanning, an online financial planning company and broker-dealer. She first started her public relations career as Laurie Chase & Company in San Francisco, where she developed business and managed multiple corporate accounts. She has had co-headquarters in both San Francisco and Washington D.C.
Privately-held LEVICK specializes in crisis communications, corporate & reputation, financial communications, litigation communications, public affairs & advocacy, digital communications. According to the Washington Business Journal, LEVICK is D.C.’s third-largest marketing and public relations firm that posted $20 million in metro-area revenue in 2015. LEVICK was founded in 1998 by Richard S. Levick, chairman and CEO.
Chase and her team have moved to LEVICK’s offices at 1900 M St NW Washington, DC.
