ChatGPT projected to see massive growth in 2023
The use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) and ChatGPT in particular will see massive growth this year, reports Marketing Daily.
Insider Intelligence forecasts that use will skyrocket 882% this year to 61.5 million — up from 6.3 million in 2022. While growth will slow to double digits in 2024, the use of GAI is expected to surpass several milestones.
According to Marketing Daily, one milestone “points to an increase of more than 20% of internet users on the platform, up to 25% in 2024. About 25.5% of the U.S. population will use ChatGPT by 2025.
“Peter Newman, forecasting analyst at Insider Intelligence, believes GAI will “radically” change search, the way consumers get information, and how they make purchase decisions.
“It will require new formats and relationships to place ads, kicking off a race to get into generated responses that will forever change SEO,” he says.”
