CUMULUS MEDIA Names Jeff Boden as Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Washington, D.C.

CUMULUS MEDIA appointed Jeff Boden as Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Washington, D.C. CUMULUS MEDIA owns and operates 105.9 FM WMAL/WMAL-FM (News/Talk) and ESPN 630 AM The Sports Capitol/WSBN-AM (Sports) in the Nation’s Capital.

Boden joins CUMULUS MEDIA from Alpha Media in Fredericksburg, VA, where he was Vice President and Market Manager of the four-station group. Prior to that, he was President of Delmarva Broadcasting Company in Wilmington, DE. The Cumulus appointment is a homecoming for Boden, who was President/General Manager for Washington, D.C., stations WRQX, WMAL and WJZW from 2005-2012, when the stations were owned and operated by ABC Radio and, later, Citadel Broadcasting. Boden, who has had a 30+-year radio career in the D.C. area, holds a B.S. degree in Communications from American University.
