In honor of #GivingTuesday, Environics is donating $20,000 of pro-bono communications and marketing work to two Washington, D.C.-area non-profits. They are seeking organizations that have a measurable impact in the community and would benefit most from a donation of communications work. You must fill out a form no later than December 14. Burson-Marsteller announced that Jon Potter joined the firm as an Executive Vice President. Based in Burson-Marsteller’s D.C. office, Potter will be a senior counselor to the firm’s clients with a specific emphasis on emerging public policy issues, federal and state affairs and international trade.
Jim Massie, a founding member of the Alpine Group, and Greg Means, also a founding member of the Alpine Group, announced that Massie launched Massie Government Relations, which will be co-located with the Alpine Group, and, stated a release, is designed to unlock further growth and expand the scope of client services both organizations provide. Founded 20 years ago, the Alpine Group reports it represents over 90 clients across a spectrum of industries.
