D.C.-based GMMB opened an office in San Francisco to, according to the agency, “support its long-standing and rapidly expanding work with philanthropic organizations, change-makers, start-ups, technology companies and institutions based in California. The new GMMB office is led by Matt James, an experienced and nationally respected strategist, who has joined the firm as Senior Counselor.” GMMB also has an office in Seattle.
Waxman Strategies, a public affairs firm led by former Congressman Henry Waxman, announced that Jeremy Sharp has been hired as Vice President and Kristi Martin has been promoted to Senior Vice President to focus on health care transformation and advancing policy on behalf of clients including nonprofit organizations and foundations committed to improving access and quality of care for patients. The practice also added Matt Hess and promoted Sophia Duong and Tealanie Baldwin.
