Margaret Ann Rose “Peg” Hosky, 74, above, President of Hosky Communications Inc. and FedInsider media companies, has died.  She was 74.  Her obit states she was a lifelong leader in woman-owned business advocacy in the D.C., area. The obit adds that she began her professional career in marketing working for WANG Laboratories and went on to hold management positions with major Information Technology and Media Companies and serve on nonprofit boards. Peg became a well-respected tenacious government market IT team leader, winning multi-million-dollar contracts with government and other institutions that laid the foundations for computers at the highest levels. She and husband Tom founded their own company in 1999 consulting for The Washington Post, Army Times and many major IT companies. To bring her organization into the digital new media age, she launched Fedinsider.com in 2007.

The Alpine Group announced the retirement of James “Jay” Hawkins following a career of more than 40 years that spanned decades on and off Capitol Hill, shaping policy debates and achieving meaningful wins. Hawkins led the firm’s healthcare policy practice. Alpine also announced that fellow Capitol Hill veteran and Alpine Group Principal Courtney Johnson has assumed the lead role in the that practice group. 

Strategic communications and advisory firm The LAKPR Group has become Resilere Partners, a brand evolution that, states a release, reflects “its specialization in partnering with organizations during periods of transformation and high-stakes inflection points. With a deeply experienced team of communications professionals, Resilere Partners’ suite of services includes internal communications, external communications and crisis communications, as well as a dedicated offering focused on private equity / investment firm advisory.”  The firm was formed by Hannah Arnold in 2020 following an asset acquisition of LAK Public Relations,
