Levick president Mark Irion departed the firm after almost three years there, reports PRWeek, which added, in part:
“Patricia Ramsay, Levick EVP and COO, confirmed Irion’s exit.
“”Mark Irion joined Levick three years ago to help take the firm to the next level,” Levick SVP Dan Rene told PRWeek via email. “During this time, Levick experienced more than 80% growth, and has catapulted itself into the top 25 communications firms in the US. We appreciate [Irion’s] contribution to reaching this milestone and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
“Ramsay and Rene would not comment further on the circumstances of Irion’s departure or who is replacing him.”
GYMR Public Relations announced promotions and new hires in its Washington, D.C. office:
Jennifer Chu has been hired as a vice president. She joined GYMR after serving as a vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations;
Tamara Moore has been promoted to vice president;
Brian Fisher joined GYMR as an account supervisor. He comes from Families USA, where he was deputy director of communications;
Kate Enos has been promoted to account supervisor;
Dori Zweig joined GYMR as an account executive, leaving her position as an associate editor for Fierce HealthPayer, where she wrote about policies affecting public and private reimbursement in U.S. healthcare; and,
Will Walters has been promoted to account executive.
