D.C.-Area Agency Acquisitions, Launches and Transitions

by | Jun 29, 2020

IDG Communications will acquire Triblio, based in Reston, VA,  in a deal that, states a release, will accelerate the shift to ready-made, highly automated marketing technology platforms. The combination will spark a new era that brings together account-based marketing (ABM), premium content and data to deliver unprecedented power, reach and value for technology and business-to-business CMOs.  The agreement will bring together IDG’s global brand, audience reach and deep experience in publishing, data and research with Triblio’s leading digital ABM platform. Together, the companies will provide the ability for marketers to focus on the accounts that sales departments want to target and influence entire buying groups. Finally, marketing organizations can build innovative campaigns that zero in on desired buying personas, deliver highly relevant content, gain deep insights into buyer behavior and benchmark intent to purchase. 4media group launched Dynamik Influence.  The launch comes following 4media group’s acquisition of News Generation, a broadcast media relations firm located in the Washington, D.C., area.  According to a release, 4media group created Dynamik Influence in response to clients’ increased needs for social media influencers in advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns. The social media influencer space is a crucial component of the modern media landscape, offering a more personalized approach to promotional content.  4media group is an integrated communications agency specializing in market research, digital, broadcast and public relations. We provide a wide array of services including satellite media tours, PR surveys, influencer engagement and digital advertising. 4media group’s global headquarters are in London; primary U.S. offices are located in Bentonville, Arkansas, with satellite offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando and Washington, D.C.

AVID Public Relations (AVID PR), based in Chantilly, VA,  announced a transition and states a release, is becoming “the premier, intellectual property (IP) public relations firm. Leveraging more than two decades of IP communications experience, AVID PR is uniquely capable of gaining awareness of, and industry thought leadership for, IP executives, their organizations and activities. Amplifying IP-industry, business and trade media coverage maximizes the credibility and value of in-house IP teams at corporations, IP law firms and defensive patent management organizations.”
