The Herald Group adds Bill Bertles as partner on its executive team and will lead the firm’s business development efforts. Bertles, above, comes to The Herald Group following a 25-year tenure growing DDC Public Affairs into a global communications agency. Bertles is a seasoned strategic communications professional who has over three decades of experience across a broad range of industries, from energy and health care to financial services and technology.

Drumfire Public Affairs adds Maureen Vogel. In her new role, Vogel will be responsible for creating, developing and designing a wide range of engaging and informative content, material, and services for mobile, social, and web-based applications and platforms. Previously, she worked with brands, nonprofits and startups, including HUNGRY, the National Guard Youth Foundation and Washington Nationals.

Measured Results Marketing reports Michael Candela will join the Centreville, VA-based sales and marketing automation technology consulting firm for B2B SaaS companies as Vice President of Growth. Candela joins MRM with twenty-plus years of enterprise sales, demand generation, and sales alignment experience.
