Blueair LLC named Allison+Partners its public relations AOR. According to a release, the Unilever brand and air purification provider for home and professional use, products pictured above, turned to Allison+Partners “after a year of explosive growth due to the West Coast wildfires and COVID-19 pandemic. The company first partnered with Allison+Partners in Q4 2020 to lead its CSR efforts to give away more than $1 million in cash to schools in areas hardest hit and hospitals across the U.S., where funding was needed most for patient care and to fund research, such as an epidemiology study, to trace the spread of COVID-19 in schools.
“The scope of work includes campaign development, overall brand and product PR, integrated marketing strategy, and projects, including video development, influencer relations and social media campaigns. The agency will also elevate the brand’s global advocacy program focusing on Clean Air for Children in the U.S., maintaining its CSR program and building a thought leadership platform for the company.”

Qorvis Communications, the D.C.-based public affairs and public diplomacy arm of Publicis Groupe, has been awarded three Bulldog PR Awards, including the Gold Award for Best Virtual Event Campaign, for work with client Help Heal Veterans (Heal Vets). The 2021 Bulldog PR Awards recognized outstanding public relations and communications campaigns from the past year.
Cape Fox Communications, Manassas, VA, won three Hermes Awards. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. There were over 6,000 entries in the 2021 competition and the competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
