D.C.-area agency updates: FINN Partners, Banner Public Affairs and The Hatcher Group
FINN Partners and OffScrip Health announced that their joint initiative – “Heartbreak in America’s Heartland – Crisis in Rural America” – was highlighted by the Biden Administration in the White House’s one year update on the President’s Cancer Moonshot. FINN serves as the pro bono agency of record for the effort, which is centered on a multi-part documentary series produced by OffScrip Health and will appear on the network, intended to raise awareness, spark conversations, promote solutions and highlight the work of communities, leaders in business and health, and policymakers making a difference. As part of the campaign, OffScrip and FINN Partners are building a coalition of companies, academic institutions and nonprofits.
In response to this year’s Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) reauthorization, Banner Public Affairs announced the formation of the Banner Aviation Practice, a bipartisan group comprising the firm’s experts. According to a release: “Clients looking to navigate the bill and make policy changes will now have access to this team, spanning the firm’s lobbying, communications and digital segments.”
“The upcoming FAA reauthorization represents a significant opportunity to invest in our nation’s aviation system and prevent the kind of difficulties we’ve seen in recent months,” said Sen. Jim Talent, partner at Banner. “Our bipartisan team of aviation experts will use their skillsets to help airports, airlines and aviation workers improve our current and future systems of aviation infrastructure.”
The Hatcher Group announced that it won 66 awards for excellence in communications, design, events, marketing, social media, web and video in 2022. Hatcher received awards from Bethesda Magazine Great Places to Work, dotCOMM, Graphic Design USA, MarComm, PRNews, Public Relations Society of America (Maryland Chapter) and the Telly awards.
