George Thompson, above, re-joined FleishmanHillard’s D.C. office as general manager. Thompson began his career at FH in 1997 as an account executive. Over the course of his 20+ year career, states FH, “he has specialized in orchestrating integrated communications and public affairs campaigns for companies seeking to win (and retain) government contracts, improve and defend their reputations, and grow their market presence.” Previously, he was a partner at Banner Public Affairs, leading the agency’s communications and media relations practice.
Brian Keeter, a communications strategist with more than two decades of experience developing and managing successful public affairs and public relations campaign, joined APCO Worldwide as senior director in the Office of the Executive Chairman. Prior to joining APCO, Keeter served at Auburn University for 14 years as the executive director of public affairs. In this role, he led the university’s communications and marketing efforts, directing national visibility and brand realignment campaigns. His responsibilities also included serving as the spokesperson for the president of the university and being a member of the president’s cabinet, advising the president and senior leadership on critical matters, and establishing and directing the university’s federal government relations program.
Wallix hired Bluetext for a reinvented digital presence. According to Bluetext: “With a legacy across European countries, the new brand and website were challenged with preserving brand recognition while communicating a modern messaging of simplified services to new markets.” The website for the “globally recognized privileged access management company” was tasked with not only serving a wider and multilingual clientele but be responsive to users of any and all device types.
