Qatar, pictured above, enlisted Proof Strategies to assist its D.C. embassy with public communications in the US, reports O’Dwyer’s. The $30K per-month pact went into effect May 1 and runs through the rest of the year. Proof is to “embed” one or more staffers at the embassy for at least one day a week, once COVID-19 workplace restrictions are lifted. Luci Manning, director of media relations, and/or Chris Burright, director of digital strategy, are to provide training to embassy officials. The Proof team, which includes US/general manager Mimi Carter and senior account director Henry Vies, will monitor relevant coverage and develop or update the Embassy’s media materials, tools and procedures.
