Curley Company adds four to expand its corporate, public affairs and media relations centers. The hires are vice presidents Chelsea Echavarria, Pheniece Jones and Kate Urbach and creative director Gloria Funes. Echavarria joins Curley from Edelman where she served as a vice president; Jones most recently served as Director of Media Relations at the Professional Services Council (PSG) and previously spent five years at Edelman; Urbach worked at Edelman, Ketchum and Havas; and Funes spent nearly a decade advancing brands and their priorities in the public sector.
Glen Echo Group adds Isabela Kent and Halley Roth. Kent joins as an associate after earning her Master’s in Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, where she completed internships in communications, public affairs and policy research. Roth joins as a senior associate. She previously served as an associate at Penn Quarter Partners, where she led advocacy campaigns through strategic communications and grasstops initiatives for the bioscience industry.
JPA Health acquired True North Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm based in Cambridge, Mass. True North specializes in commercial, clinical, and medical affairs, with expertise in digital acceleration and customized predictive analytics, as well as solutions powered by AI and natural language processing. This acquisition, the first for JPA Health, will, states a release, further expand JPA’s strategic offerings providing end-to-end integrated medical affairs, clinical development, commercial strategy, creative marketing, public relations and patient advocacy solutions to clients.
