Weber Shandwick adds Chris Harris as Vice President, Public Affairs and Social Impact. Most recently, Harris, above,  served as Senate Communications Director & Senior Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris.  Based in D.C., his role will involve senior counsel for clients on navigating the complex public affairs environment at the intersection of business, purpose and social issues.  In addition to his recent Senate work, Harris served for four years as the Communications Director to Chris Murphy (D-Conn.). Additionally, he served in the communications office of Senator Mark Udall (DColo.), including as lead spokesperson and communications strategist for the Udall for Colorado reelection campaign. Harris also worked at American Bridge 21st Century and Media Matters for America.

Whereoware adds Lynne DeRoché as Vice President of Strategic Solutions. DeRoché will lead and mentor Whereoware’s media, creative, delivery and digital strategy teams, responsible for rigorous strategic planning, data-driven digital roadmaps, continuous optimization, and measurable achievement of client acquisition, retention, and maximization goals.  DeRoché brings over two decades experience in both traditional and online marketing. Most recently, DeRoché was Vice President, Digital & Social Marketing, for Marriott International,

Susan Davis International launched a comprehensive, interactive calendar of military events and observances to benefit professional communicators, event organizers, media and advocates who support service members and veterans, as well as their families and caregivers. The 40-year-old firm has worked with the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, corporations and national nonprofits including the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve; Military Women’s Memorial; Marine Corps Heritage Foundation; Army Historical Foundation; Elizabeth Dole Foundation; USO; The Independence Fund; and Homes for Our Troops, among others.
