WHITE64 has been awarded the advertising agency of record account for United Federal Credit Union, a $3.3 billion financial services company with 38 branches covering six states. WHITE64, based in Tysons, VA, will provide creative and media services to the credit union as it continues its membership growth in Arkansas, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio. In addition, the agency promoted five employees to expanded roles in agency operations, creative services and account management. According to a release, the appointments come “as the 50-year-old agency continues its growth across several key business verticals and incorporates a multigenerational leadership approach into its Executive Committee.” Those promoted are:
Nate Whittington has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer;
Kipp Monroe has been promoted to General Manager, WHITE64 Studios;
Matt Walker has been promoted to Executive Creative Director;
Heather Knight has been promoted to Vice President, Group Creative Director; and,
Kelly Weismiller has been promoted to Vice President, Group Account Director.

Bluetext created a updated website for Speedcast. According to Bluetext, “Speedcast brings together high-speed communications networks with a breadth of innovative applications to deliver worldwide connectivity to their partners and customers. Speedcast came to Bluetext looking for a best-in-class website to match the best-in-class services they are known for in the satellite communications industry.”

GLM Strategies, billed as a “pure-play media company that provides a full spectrum of media-related services to advertising agencies and brands,” celebrated its first anniversary. Since its launch, the company, based in Falls Church, VA, reports it “secured engagements with Amazon Launchpad, Children’s National Hospital, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Sandy Spring Bank, CreditXpert, Epicor, and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), among other national and regional brands.”
