Wounded Warrior Project named René Carbone Bardorf to the role of Senior Vice President of Government and Community Relations. Bardorf joined WWP from the National Defense Industrial Association, where she served as the Chief Communications Officer.  Prior to NDIA, Bardorf was Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, where she served as a principal advisor to the Secretary of Defense on matters related to public affairs and community outreach. She also served as the founding Executive Director of the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

Gordon Lambourne, former senior VP of global PR and 35-year veteran of Marriott International, has shifted to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in D.C. as VP of communications for the philanthropic entity of restaurant industry trade group, reports O’Dwyer’s.

Prosper Group added John Seng to its marketing communications strategic advisors.  Seng, a 35-year veteran of multinational PR firms, built Spectrum Science Communications, Inc., in D.C., and now oversees the process of succession and internal sale. Spectrum was honored as the 2016 Holmes Report Healthcare Agency of the Year and employs a staff of 80 with offices throughout the U.S. In addition, Seng founded GLOBALHealthPR, the only worldwide network of independent agencies focused exclusively on healthcare. He was elected to the Arthur W. Page Society of communications counselors in 2015.
