D.C.-Area Updates: Be The Change Revolutions, Revature and Penn Schoen Berland
Inc. magazine ranked Be The Change (BTC) Revolutions as the number-one fastest-growing private advertising and marketing company in the D.C. area. This announcement was featured in its 35th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. BTC was 442 on the overall list and ranked 37th in the Advertising and Marketing category.
Revature, a technology talent development company based in Reston, Va, announced the appointment of Joe Vacca as the company’s chief marketing officer. Formerly the CMO at Identity Guard, Vacca has also held executive positions with Intersections and EduCap.
Penn Schoen Berland (PSB), a global research-based consultancy, added Jason Boxt as Executive Vice President to oversee the growth and development of the firm’s corporate client base. He is based in Washington, D.C. Before PSB, Boxt spent more than eight years at The Glover Park Group, a D.C.-based strategic communications firm, and for the last three-and-a-half years he led its research and analytics team as Managing Director.
