D.C.-Area Updates: Environics, McBee and Potomac Management Resources
Environics Communications promoted Mimi Carter to senior vice president and general manager in the agency’s D.C. office. Carter joined Environics in 2015 as vice president following more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations, including digital marketing.
McBee Strategic Consulting, a lobbying and strategic communications firm, announced that Lauren French left POLITICO to join the firm. French, who helmed the paper’s Congress beat, joins as senior manager and, stated a release, “will lead its new offering, the Press Office, developed for clients looking to leverage the services of a policy-savvy public relations and communications firm on an opportunistic basis.”
Anna Brooks Whichard, who joined Potomac Management Resources in 2011, has been promoted to senior account manager. Her responsibilities at PMR include Board and program support and customer service to a client base that represents almost 11,000 members in the metropolitan area.
