NFL Alumni (NFLA) added Alexandria, Va-based personal brand consulting firm Firestarter to its offerings, allowing NFLA to provide its members with strategic personal branding, public relations, social media and content marketing services. “Now more than ever, former athletes have to be savvy about their personal brand,” said Frances Reimers, principal, Firestarter. “Maintaining and/or expanding a brand that transcends social media and serves the athlete well into the future requires strategy and consistency. We are thrilled to be able to bring our marketing and public relations expertise to NFLA members.”

ICX Media in D.C. added Danielle Taricco as its head of marketing. According to ICX Media, she has had a successful career leading brand and strategic marketing for leading consumer and business-to-business brands in the D.C., area such as AOL and Custom Ink, has worked at two boutique advertising agencies and ran her own marketing consulting firm over the course of her career.

Buffalo.Agency, based in Reston, Va, promoted David Griffith and Jill Headley to VP,  Chad Kurz to senior director and David Wood to director.  “Buffalo is realizing record agency growth in both our portfolio and staff,” said Kristen Ingraham, senior vice president, who was tapped to lead the operational evolution of Buffalo from a PR practice into a comprehensive marketing agency.
