Bethesda- based Fixation Marketing merged with FORT Group Inc., a full-service marketing agency based in Ridgefield Park, NJ. FORT Group acquired Fixation from President & CEO Jean Whiddon, who has worked at Fixation since 1993 and acquired the company in 2000. Whiddon will stay on as brand communications strategist, allowing her to focus on client relationships and business development. Julie Parsons has stepped into the role of managing director after serving as vice president of Fixation for four years.
Leslie Schrader joined Children’s Hospital Foundation as Associate Vice President Marketing and Communications Officer. Previously, she spent more than 16 years at Ketchum, most recently as Partner and Director DC Brand Marketing Practice. She also worked for APCO and Porter Novelli.
Working with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), headquartered in Alexandria, Va, LMO completed its second PSA for APTA’s #ChoosePT opioid awareness campaign. Titled “You Have a Choice,” the PSA was distributed to television and radio stations across the country as a 60- and 30-second spot.
