by | May 25, 2017

The Auto Care Association announced the appointment of Stacey Miller as director of communications. Miller most recently served as director of communications at Cision, a leading global communications technology and analytics company, where she spent the past 10 years in various senior communications roles. While at Cision, she pioneered influencer marketing, employee advocacy and social selling programs through both traditional and social media. Most recently, Miller led a global team of internal and external communicators while managing the strategy and execution of media, influencer and analyst relations, social media and community development.

Fenton reports that Zain Habboo will join the company as its first Chief Digital Officer.  According to a release, she brings 20 years of creative, diplomatic and social impact experience to the agency where her role involves overseeing digital strategy across Fenton’s four offices, which are located in New York, DC, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She will be based in the firm’s DC office. Before joining Fenton, Habboo was Senior Director of digital and multimedia strategy at the UN Foundation, where she was responsible for the digital, video, photo, and mobile strategies across the organization. Prior to joining the UN Foundation, Habboo spent 14 years at the National Geographic Society in digital strategy and production.

Dain Anderson “Andy” Williams, retired chairman and founder of Williams Whittle advertising and marketing firm, died.  He was 74.  We have a tribute to him in “Agency”.
