D.C.-based Design Army won four awards at the 2020 American Advertising Awards. Design Army won the following: JUDGE’S CHOICE, Art Direction, Campaign for Hong Kong Ballet; GOLD, Art Direction, Campaign for Hong Kong Ballet; GOLD, Integrated Advertising Campaign, Regional/National, Hong Kong Ballet; and SILVER, Internet Commercial, Georgetown Optician.
“It’s great to see the Hong Kong Ballet campaign receive so much attention and accolades in these times of uncertainty … feels good to put a smile on faces –– even if you can’t see them!”, Pum Lefebure, co-founder and chief creative officer of Design Army, told Capitol Communicator.
“Visual language can be very powerful and when done right it has a power to captivate audience globally. The Hong Kong Ballet campaign is an example of visual language leading a campaign to be its best. It took a team of talented people to pull this this project off … the artistic director Septime Weber, director Dean Alexander and the amazing sound design by Simon Lister of Squeak E Clean — and of course our entire team at Design Army,” she adds.
