D.C.-based iStrategyLabs (ISL) announced that DJ Saul has been promoted to CEO and agency founder Peter Corbett now carries the title of Founder.

Corbett wrote that “Every founder hopes they can build a business that’s greater than themselves, and that in the course of the process, team members will join them who they can rely on through thick and thin. I certainly have felt that way, and was fortunate in the early years of my 10 year journey of building ISL to have found a partner in DJ Saul who could one day be able to take the helm as CEO when the time is right.  That day has come. As of today, I’ve promoted DJ to the role of CEO for the company we’ve built, and I remain a full time active member of the team as “Founder“. I’m a big believer that great leaders make room from others to lead – and creating this space is what’s right for DJ at this stage in his career, and at a point in our company’s history when a transition such as this will be beneficial for our employees, clients, and corporate parent moving forward.”
