D.C.-Based RepEquity Rebrands as REQ

by | Feb 13, 2018

Award-winning digital marketing and brand management company RepEquity announced its rebrand as REQ. The new brand, states a release, is a celebration of the Washington, DC-based company’s evolution from a start-up specializing in online reputation management (ORM) and search engine optimization (SEO) to a full-service digital marketing and technology solutions company serving some of the world’s most prominent brands, companies, and organizations.

“I’m proud of how we have grown, adapted to market demands, and helped shape our industry over the last decade,” said CEO Tripp Donnelly who founded the company in 2008. “We will continue to drive the best in technology, talent, and tradecraft to build resilient brands and safeguard reputations. RepEquity is our heritage. REQ is our future.”

The release added that “REQ has been named one of the best places to work and one of the fastest growing companies in America, and the REQ rebrand marks another significant milestone for the company.

““The origins of this rebrand arose from organic and honest conversations among our team, clients, and partners,” said Donnelly, who spearheaded the company’s rebranding journey through interviews, research, and market analysis. The rebrand celebrates the company’s significant growth over the last decade, new lines of business into new markets, expanded audience, and new clients. “We saw an opportunity to better define and align what we do today with a stronger foundation for our future,” said Donnelly.

“While REQ remains a forerunner and leader in the ORM and SEO industry, the rebrand reflects the company’s expanded range of award-winning capabilities and experience in brand, advocacy, media, and marketing.

“Through 4,000% growth, three investments, two acquisitions, and continued innovation in proprietary technologies and solutions, REQ has secured more than 75 industry awards, including being named to the INC. 500 and Deloitte’s Fast 500 lists for fastest growing companies in America. REQ’s acquisition of Virilion in 2011 strengthened its advocacy portfolio and its acquisition of Unison in 2015 expanded its mobile, development, and brand marketing capabilities. As the company has grown, REQ has also made strategic hires, investing in best-in-class talent to expand its team and capabilities across several industry verticals and marketing disciplines.

“As technology has allowed for tailored experiences, the way people and organizations engage with government and policy made a similar shift. In the 2016 election year, REQ launched MomentumTM, a proprietary advocacy platform used by Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and member organizations to manage engaging digital grassroots campaigns. The platform today serves hundreds of clients across thousands of advocacy websites, making REQ a prominent player in digital advocacy.

““With the move to REQ, our expanding capabilities and services reinforce our culture and commitment to innovation, making us more agile and allowing us to empower our clients to stay one step ahead in the rapidly changing media landscape,” said Donnelly. “As REQ, we are confidently positioned for a future where our team, our company, and our clients can own what’s next.”

“REQ is deliberate and agile, skillfully delivering the digital needs of corporations, government, and nonprofits. As a digital marketing company, we help our clients determine their own future in today’s rapidly changing media landscape, bringing reputation, advocacy, brand, and business results to new heights.

“We provide clarity and metrics at the intersection of digital advertising, search marketing, and brand performance. We make it easy for our clients to do things differently. Steeped in collaborative culture, we are guided by precise analytics, the latest media technologies, design thinking, and brand strategy.

“We share our clients’ purpose and success, safeguarding reputations by building resilient brands that activate and fully engage audiences. As trusted partners, we readily adapt and take advantage of the boundless opportunities that bring forward the brightest tomorrow.
