Basye, stated the agency, “brings a depth of experience in public affairs and media relations through his prior work with Fortune 25 companies and in multiple capacities within the public sector, including as a White House political appointee and spokesperson for the nation’s top aviation agency”. Mitchell, most recently, was the director of social media at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas.
Ben Finzel, President of RENEW PR, launched DC Family Communicators, a professional networking group for LGBTQ communications professionals in D.C.. The group is modeled on (and takes its name from) a similar group in Atlanta that was formed more than 15 years ago. According to Finzel, “DC Family Communicators is a professional networking group.
