Deadline extended for WWPR’s Woman of the Year Awards nominations until September 3

by | Aug 26, 2024

The deadline to nominate a trailblazing woman for WWPR’s Woman of the Year Awards has been extended to Tuesday, September 3. The WWPR Woman of the Year Awards recognizes senior professionals working in PR and Communications.  According to WWPR, the extension allows time to nominate someone “who has raised the bar in our field and paved the way for the future of the profession.”

Washington Women in Public Relations states that for 35 years, WWPR has provided “a forum to come together and honor over 100 female leaders in the Washington, D.C., area through the annual PR Woman of the Year award. This award recognizes “trailblazers who have raised the bar in our field and paved the way for the future of the profession. We look forward to once again honoring the dynamic and strong leaders who have shown up in major ways professionally and personally, day in and day out throughout their careers.”

In addition, on October 4, at Salamander DC,  WWPR will celebrate the honorees and achievements of those who continue to lend their voice and expertise to the PR industry.
