Each of Facebook’s 1.8 billion global users has been worth, on average, $14.17 to the social network in ad revenue for the last year, according to SocialFlow’s research. Additionally, the research found that users, on average, see about 10 ads on Facebook a day, according to a report in Adweek.
The Adweek item, in part, added:
“It’s worth noting that Facebook users in the United States are likely worth much more to the social network than those, for instance, in some Asian countries due to marketplace realities—chiefly, that there are great differences in the amount of advertising money that is spent from one region to the next.
“The findings are based on Facebook’s earnings from the last four quarters, which have produced increases in the company’s sales thanks to the rise of digital video and mobile advertising.”
