The Maryland chapter of PRSA announces that entries are now being accepted for the annual Best in Maryland Awards. Deadlines are September 15 for all entries and the awards gala is set for December 1 at the Hilton Baltimore. Special early-bird rates are in effect through September 1.
New this year is the electronic acceptance of entries, according to chapter co-president David Harrison. Candidates can upload their entries including entry application, summary, all supporting materials and a company logo to a separate folder in a Drop Box account. All the details can be accessed via the chapter’s website.
The Best in Maryland Awards are presented annually to public relations practitioners who, in the judgment of their peers, have successfully addressed a communications challenge with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. PRSA Maryland models the Best in Maryland Awards after PRSA’s national Silver and Bronze awards programs.
In addition to programs and tactics, nominations are open for the following awards:
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- New Professional of the Year
- Educator of the Year
- Partner of Distinction
