Facebook Launches Two-Person Broadcasts on Live

by | Aug 23, 2016

Facebook is set to launch a new feature that allows for two-person broadcasts on Live, reports The Next Web.

The TNW report, in part, added:

“The initial rollout is said to be available to public figures using the Facebook Mentions app on iOS via a verified profile or Page. The feature will require both accounts to be verified and use the Mentions app on iOS to go live.

“All other brands (non-verified users) in the US are said to be getting the feature in September. By October or November it should start to hit worldwide brands. Expect it to start trickling down to personal profiles around that time as well.”

This new feature will enable people using Facebook Live to invite another person on Facebook to join their live video, broadcasting together and sharing the screen.”
