Fors Marsh Group Wins AmeriCorps Contract to Improve Youth Program Recruiting

by | Nov 19, 2018

AmeriCorps awarded Fors Marsh Group (FMG) a contract to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through young adult service in the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) program. In this partnership, FMG will use its decades of recruitment program evaluation experience to assess and improve AmeriCorps NCCC’s recruitment marketing strategies focused on reaching young adults ages 18 to 26.

“As a Certified B Corp business, FMG understands the significance of AmeriCorps NCCC’s mission to strengthen communities and develop leaders through national and community service,” said Megan Fischer, Director of Integrated Marketing, FMG. “Fors Marsh Group has deep expertise in conducting market research to determine communication effectiveness, opportunities, and needs—particularly in the realm of recruiting youth. FMG is proud to assist AmeriCorps in its mission by providing a unique combination of subject matter expertise and deep experience in assessing, developing, and implementing communication strategy and advertising campaigns.”

For AmeriCorps, FMG will review and analyze the effectiveness of the existing AmeriCorps NCCC program recruiting materials that encourage young people to apply. In addition, FMG will evaluate the scope and reach of existing efforts by assessing their key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. FMG will leverage this baseline analysis to provide recruitment marketing plans with the goal of recruiting 1,200 more applicants to the program.
