Fundamental changes impacting the communications community – including what’s new in news – will be detailed at Capitol Communicator’s fourth annual full-day PR Summit DC, June 2, at the NEA Conference Center at 16th & M Streets, NW. And, this year, Capitol Communicator has teamed with the Newseum to moderate a discussion of developments in the news media.
The summit which, last year, attracted more than 250 area-communicators from corporations, associations, non-profits and government, will feature in-depth sessions on the profound changes in traditional and social media; plus sessions on how to turn leaders into influencers, crisis communications, using video to tell an organization’s story, media training, podcasts and other topics. The summit will also include a roundtable discussion with several top Chief Communications Officers about how they strategize and plan in today’s media environment, plus a panel of leading headhunters discussing what today’s PR demands at all levels.
The goal of PR Summit DC is to give attendees the skills and techniques they need to be successful in the coming months and years, stated Capitol Communicator.
