GEICO in Ice Cream Business … Until October 1

Atlanta hip-hop duo Tag Team knew the nostalgia-inducing ad for insurance company GEICO, Chevy Chase, MD, was going to be something special from the beginning, reports Food & Wine. The spot features Tag Team’s multi-platinum single “Whoomp! (There It Is)” reworked for the GEICO ad, which was produced by The Martin Agency in Richmond.

But, while the spot features GEICO ice cream, you can’t buy in stores or anywhere. According to Food & Wine, if you’d like to get your hands on a pint of “Scoop! There It Is,” you’ll have to dance for it.

GEICO is hosting a social media dance contest giveaway and winners will be chosen from all of the entries that are uploaded by Friday, October 1. Those who want to participate need to follow @GEICO on TikTok or Instagram, film themselves dancing to the “Scoop! There It Is” track, and tag @GEICO and use the hashtags #GEICOIceCream and #sweepstakes in the video caption.
