D.C.-based Beekeeper Group shared the news of the sudden passing of Hannah Rae Levy, who died on July 3 at age 33. According to the agency, she was a lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C., area, a place she adored, and where she made a lasting impact on both personal and professional levels.
Ther agency adds: “An accomplished professional, Hannah was an integral part of Beekeeper Group, a Washington D.C. public affairs firm. Starting as the first employee in the role of intern in 2010, Hannah’s dedication, hard work, and forward-thinking approach led her to rise to the position of Partner. She played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operations and strategy, and her contributions have left an indelible mark on the organization.
“Hannah also played a central role in the public affairs community overall. She ran the influential industry program Advocacy Leaders Network, led Beekeeper Group’s annual Buzz Advocacy Summit, was recently appointed to the Board of The Advocacy Association, and was active with Public Affairs Council and Women in Government Relations.
“Hannah will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, career, and community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those who wish to express their sympathy consider making a donation in Hannah’s memory to a fund for baby Bobby.”
She is survived by her husband, Andy Gruhin, and recently fulfilled her dream of becoming a mother to Bobby Indigo Gruhin.
No cause of death was provided.
