PCI’s Frances Reimers Selected for Inaugural Class of Alexandria’s Chamber of Commerce “40 Under 40”

by | Jul 6, 2016

Frances Reimers, director of corporate visibility at PCI Communications, has been selected to be among the inaugural class of Alexandria’s Chamber of Commerce “40 Under 40” awards, a new program recognizing the significant impact of young professionals under the age of 40 who have made a substantial commitment and interest in the advancement of the Alexandria region. The winners will be presented their awards at an event on Thursday, July 28, from 6:30-9:00 pm at United Way Worldwide.

“We are extremely proud of Frances as she is an excellent representative of the firm,” said Robert W. Sprague, president & CEO at PCI. “Her commitment to her community and dedication to clients is inspiring, and her work has helped PCI to build the brand that it is today.”

A Cheyenne, Wyoming, native, Reimers leads business and client development for PCI, managing more than $2M in annual revenue. Through her content marketing and digital strategy efforts, she has tripled the agency’s website traffic, while also overseeing projects for many clients such as the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Washington Nationals and the Department of Transportation. According to a release, she is also a popular speaker for organizations across the country, including Virginia Tech’s Department of Communications where she guest lectures. She currently serves on the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and National Foundation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH) Advisory Boards, has contributed to an article in the March 2014 edition of O Magazine as part of their #JustSayHello campaign, and was featured on CNN’s Live with Piers Morgan.

“I am extremely honored to be named alongside such an esteemed group of my peers. Building relationships and being a good corporate citizen is very important to me and I am excited to be selected for an award that embodies those very principles,” she commented upon receiving the award.
