Campaign US and its panel of 10 judges announced their selections for the inaugural Female Frontier Awards. All of the nominees, stated Campaign US, “sparkled in their own way and we look forward to continue celebrating the achievements of incredible women in advertising, marketing and communications.” Listed in the category of “Championing Change” was Santia Nance, pictured above, media planning supervisor, The Martin Agency, Richmond. That category honored “those who are constantly pushing the boundaries of culture and making dynamic and brave changes within their workplace or industry.”
Subject Matter added Capitol Hill veteran and experienced lobbyist Cedric Grant to the D.C.-based firm’s government relations team. Grant comes from H&R Block where he has led public policy development and lobbying outreach to Democratic Members. Previously, Grant was Chief of Staff to Representative Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) and Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the Department of Commerce. Earlier in his career, he held senior advisory positions to Representative Charles Rangel.
Becky George joined Mission Partners as Director of Community Engagement where she will manage the company’s growing portfolio for education programming. Prior to her work with Bethesda-based Mission Partners, she spent thirteen years providing community outreach education in the non-profit sector focused on youth development, women’s rights, reproductive justice and healthcare.
