The Daily Record selected Jessica Tiller, a partner at Pugh & Tiller PR, to receive a 2021 Influential Marylander award. Fifty-one Marylanders were selected by the editors of The Daily Record for their significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland in the following areas: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate and technology.

Tiller co-founded Weiss PR in 2008 along with Ray Weiss. In 2020, the firm transitioned and relaunched as Pugh & Tiller PR, now with a client base of more than two dozen companies throughout the U.S. The firm has serviced clients based in a variety of countries including Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Germany, Israel, and Canada.

Crofton-based integrated marketing agency The Cyphers Agency has added coordinators to each of the following departments: digital marketing (Push ‘n Pull), account, and public relations. Jasmine White,  previously worked at a beverage company and a software company, Taylor Markey joins as a public relations coordinator, and Reece Milner has been hired as a digital marketing coordinator to assist Push ‘n Pull in monitoring and managing clients’ digital presence through their social media accounts.

Atkinson Strategic Communications, a Baltimore-based strategic communications and public relations firm, has partnered with public relations and marketing advisory COMSINT, to pursue large-scale clients that operate across the U.S. and around the world.

COMSINT, based in Boston, is built on a national network of senior advisors, each with extensive experience across of range of disciplines including, corporate communications, digital marketing, crisis and issues management, and content and video production.
