Kathy Baird to be keynoter at WWPR’s 2025 Emerging Leader Awards on June 11
Washington Women in Public Relations announced that Kathy Baird will be the 2025 Emerging Leader Awards keynote speaker.
According to WWPR, Baird is a “mission‑driven communications leader with 25 years guiding Fortune 500 brands, cultural institutions, government, and nonprofits, Kathy most recently served as Chief Communications Officer at The Washington Post. She is also a 2025 Sulzberger Fellow at Columbia Journalism School and has held global leadership roles at Nike, Ogilvy, and other top agencies. Proudly enrolled in the Rosebud Sioux Tribe (Sicangu Lakota), Kathy gives back as a board member of the American Indian College Fund. We can’t wait to learn from her insights at the Emerging Leader Awards!”
WWPR Emerging Leaders Awards recognizes outstanding young women in public relations who are making a significant impact early in their careers. This year, the organization celebrate 15 years of the Emerging Leaders Awards.
