by | Apr 29, 2016

Laura Van Eperen, founder and CEO of Van Eperen, an integrated communications agency in North Bethesda, Md., has been named to the Board of Directors of Maryland’s Public-Private Partnership (P3) Marketing Corporation. In this role Van Eperen, who has more than 25 years of strategic communications experience, will provide PR, marketing and branding counsel to the State.

“This announcement is a huge honor to me as a resident and business owner in Maryland for nearly 15 years,” said Laura Van Eperen. “I feel passionate about the impact strong communications, branding and marketing can yield, and believe the Maryland Partnership will improve our state’s desirability among business owners and ultimately help grow our economy.”

The P3 Marketing Corporation is tasked with creating a branding strategy, marketing Maryland’s assets to out-of-state businesses, and recruiting out-of-state businesses to locate and grow in the State. The P3 Marketing Corporation has set out to leverage the participants’ resources to create a globally recognized campaign for Maryland and coordinate marketing efforts that lead to job growth and capital investment in the State.

The P3 Marketing Corporation was created by HB 9434 during the 2015 legislative session and is part of the Maryland Partnership cooperative venture between the Maryland Department of Commerce, private business and industry and other economic development partners.
