Qorvis MSLGROUP announced its selection as the public relations agency of record for AMGA which, states the agency, is a leader in “the transformation of health care that represents multidisciplinary medical groups and integrated health systems. The engagement will center on an integrated marketing and thought leadership campaign, as the association aims to enhance its position as a premier brand in the rapidly changing healthcare sector.” AMGA, formerly known as the American Medical Group Association, advocates, educates, innovates and empowers its more than 440 multi-specialty medical group members and their more than 175,000 physicians. AMGA members, which include Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and Kaiser Permanente, deliver care to one-in-three Americans.

The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) announced that Jennifer Choi, program officer at Robert R. McCormick Foundation, will be joining NCRP as its vice president and chief content officer, a newly-created position. Choi will oversee the creation and distribution of NCRP’s content, which, for more than 40 years, has helped push foundations to be more accountable, transparent and responsive to the needs of underserved communities. Prior to McCormick, Choi was director of institutional initiatives at Chicago Public Media and held various staff positions at a number of nonprofits including the Illinois College of Optometry, Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago and Korean American Women in Need (KAN-WIN).

Glen Echo Group and Vox Media are included in Washingtonian magazine’s list of 50 great places to work. The March issue lists 50 companies and nonprofits that offer “great pay and benefits, flexible schedules, meaningful work, and happy colleagues.”
