Maroon PR Adds Famous Dave’s and Carluccio’s

by | Jul 20, 2015

Minneapolis-based Famous Dave’s and the Italian restaurant group Carluccio’s have hired Maroon PR for media relations, social media consulting, partnership development, event support and media buying.

Founded in 1994 by David Anderson, Famous Dave’s is known for its authentic barbeque and has been the recipient of more than 700 awards. Maroon PR is assisting Famous Dave’s by boosting public relations and marketing for their six corporate owned locations throughout Maryland.

Carluccio’s is an international Italian restaurant group that offers a combination of all-day dining, coupled with an in-house market featuring imported products sourced direct from small artisan producers in Italy. With more than 100 restaurants operating internationally, Maroon PR will help to introduce the brand to new markets in the U.S., which included opening their first location in Old Town Alexandria in June. The agency is managing media relations, creating and operating Carluccio’s U.S. social media platforms and providing support for grand opening events.

Earlier this year, the Columbia-based Maroon PR worked with RW Restaurant Group to assist D.C.-based chef Robert Wiedmaier open his first restaurant, Mussel Bar & Grill in Baltimore. The agency also managed public relations for husband and wife culinary team, Jeremy and Michelle Hoffman with the opening of their first restaurant, Preserve, in Annapolis.
