Marty Baron to Receive the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism

Washington Post Executive Editor Marty Baron will receive the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism which is presented by the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, reports The Post.

The annual award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of journalism. Past recipients include Gwen Ifill, Nicholas Kristof, Jorge Ramos, Martha Raddatz, Walter Isaacson and Andrea Mitchell.

Baron will be honored at a ceremony on Tuesday, March 12, in Cambridge, MA.
