“I’ve always loved the more intimate atmosphere of an independent agency, and imre has been a shop I’ve followed and admired for years. David Imre created an amazing legacy of creative storytelling, and Anna Kotis, imre President, and the team have done an extraordinary job over the past few years of further deepening that legacy. I’m excited and humbled to play a role in what’s next,” said Bauman.

The Worldcom Public Relations Group, the leading global partnership of independent public relations firms, has welcomed Abel Communications in Baltimore to the organization. Abel Communications has been in business since 2005 and specializes in awareness-building campaigns for clients in diverse industries, with a focus on companies that are headquartered or have a prominent presence in the Mid-Atlantic. “Joining Worldcom at this time provides Abel Communications with a conduit to a world of best practices, new connections, and energetic leadership,” said founder and CEO Greg Abel. “For years we have studied the industry landscape and modeled those doing innovative work while pushing ourselves to be trusted counselors to our clients. We look forward to collaborating with some of the best agencies in the world in order to raise our game and represent the Baltimore market with pride to the Worldcom network.”
Abel Communications also reported it has launched “Expertise, Amplified,” an on-demand Thought Leadership program designed to programmatically and strategically raise the profile of subject matter experts. “Anyone in the business of selling their thinking –– a lawyer, engineer, accountant, architect –– can be a Thought Leader,” said Abel. “What’s important is the execution; you can do this haphazardly or you can have a structured plan, and that’s what “Expertise, Amplified” offers.”
