imre announced the appointment of Christian Bauman as its Chief Creative Officer. According to a release, Bauman has led some of the most innovative and iconic health brands. His work has been featured in both the Smithsonian Institute and the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame. As co-founder and longtime leader of the Havas Health & You flagship agency H4B Chelsea, he has also spent time at agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, CDM, and LM&P. As a creative director, he has guided major campaigns and launch strategies for leading US and Global clients, including Pfizer, Sanofi, Novartis, Alcon and Astellas. He has served on the executive juries of all the major award shows and was Jury Chair for the 2023 Clio Awards.

“I’ve always loved the more intimate atmosphere of an independent agency, and imre has been a shop I’ve followed and admired for years. David Imre created an amazing legacy of creative storytelling, and Anna Kotis, imre President, and the team have done an extraordinary job over the past few years of further deepening that legacy. I’m excited and humbled to play a role in what’s next,” said Bauman.

MGH recently announced account wins: MGH was selected by PayMore Stores — a franchised retail store where individuals can sell, trade or recycle electronics safely — to conduct research and create a refined visual identity, as well as work to redefine the brand messaging to help propel the company’s growth.

NaturaLawn® of America, a national franchise and provider of environmentally friendly lawn care since 1987, tapped MGH to provide a full suite of marketing services, including research, public relations, influencer marketing, digital and social advertising and creative, media buying, and more.

MGH has also teamed up with two leading brands in the pet food and supplement space — Zesty Paws and Solid Gold — to provide social media marketing strategy and influencer marketing services across both brands. Also, celebrity chef and former Top Chef contestant Fabio Viviani has partnered with MGH to develop the branding, voice and social media strategy for several of his new restaurant concepts, including Giostra, Taverna Toscana, Adelina, Seville, 9 Prime and Lago.

The Worldcom Public Relations Group, the leading global partnership of independent public relations firms, has welcomed Abel Communications in Baltimore to the organization.  Abel Communications has been in business since 2005 and specializes in awareness-building campaigns for clients in diverse industries, with a focus on companies that are headquartered or have a prominent presence in the Mid-Atlantic. “Joining Worldcom at this time provides Abel Communications with a conduit to a world of best practices, new connections, and energetic leadership,” said founder and CEO Greg Abel. “For years we have studied the industry landscape and modeled those doing innovative work while pushing ourselves to be trusted counselors to our clients. We look forward to collaborating with some of the best agencies in the world in order to raise our game and represent the Baltimore market with pride to the Worldcom network.”

Abel Communications also reported it has launched “Expertise, Amplified,” an on-demand Thought Leadership program designed to programmatically and strategically raise the profile of subject matter experts.  “Anyone in the business of selling their thinking –– a lawyer, engineer, accountant, architect –– can be a Thought Leader,” said Abel. “What’s important is the execution; you can do this haphazardly or you can have a structured plan, and that’s what “Expertise, Amplified” offers.”
