Planit announced the national launch of Kiddie Academy’s “Where ____ Grows” brand campaign. According to a statement, this innovative approach uses adaptable video assets to highlight Kiddie Academy’s Life Essentials curriculum, which fosters emotional intelligence and other vital skills in over 300 centers nationwide. Examples of what Kiddie Academy “grows” include Character, Creativity, Curiosity, Confidence, Critical Thinking and Connection.

Mindgrub welcomes Kevin Giffhorn as Education Engagement Director. Giffhorn, formerly a computer science teacher, brings a wealth of experience in educational technology. He founded WeLearn Educational Software, developed the innovative eNotebook app, and received numerous awards, including the Maryland High School Math Teacher of the Year. “Kevin’s extensive experience in education and technology, combined with his leadership skills and innovative mindset, make him an ideal fit for Mindgrub,” said Todd Marks, founder & CEO of Mindgrub. “We are excited to welcome him to our team and look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy he will bring to our projects.”

Brand3 adds Matt Wolfe as Director of Brand Strategy. A StoryBrand Certified Guide, Wolfe brings extensive experience in brand strategy for small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofits across North America and Europe. He joins Orsolya Herbein and Sarah Pattisall on the Brand3 strategy team.

Abel Communications has joined the Worldcom Public Relations Group, expanding its global reach. Maryland Public Television has been honored with 15 Capital Emmy® Awards, bringing its total to 211 Capital Emmys out of 496 nominations over its 50-year history.

WYPR, Baltimore’s NPR news station, said it is “thrilled” to announce the appointment of Marquis Lupton as the new local host of All Things Considered, NPR’s premier afternoon drive-time news program. According to a press release, Lupton will take on his new role starting July 10, bringing his experience and dynamic storytelling to the Baltimore airwaves every weekday from 4-6 pm.  A native of Lancaster, Pa., Lupton joins WYPR from Harrisburg, where he previously hosted at public radio station WITF. “We are excited to welcome Marquis to the WYPR team,” said WYPR Chief Content Officer Jonathan Blakley. “His experience and passion for storytelling will undoubtedly enrich our programming and provide our listeners with insightful and engaging content.”
