The Orioles announced that Anthony Verni has joined the organization as Vice President, Corporate Partnerships. Verni will oversee day-to-day operations of the Orioles’ Corporate Partnerships department, including sponsorship, advertising sales, and partnership marketing. He will report to T.J. Brightman, senior vice president, chief revenue officer.

“Anthony’s limitless track record in advertising and sponsorship sales, team building, client relations, and revenue growth within the sports broadcasting industry makes him the ideal choice to head up our Corporate Partnerships department,” said Brightman. “We are thrilled to have him join our talented team as we work to re-energize the relationship between the business community and the ballclub that will undoubtedly pay dividends for our fans and corporate partners.”

Most recently, Verni served as the Director of Sales for Effectv (formerly Comcast Spotlight), where he led a team of four sales managers and 20 account executives in four offices across the Baltimore market. His leadership saw a 57% increase in new business revenue and a 42% growth in digital revenue during his tenure. Prior to joining Effectv, he served as the General Sales Manager for the Washington Redskins Radio Network/ESPN 980 in Washington, D.C.

R2integrated, a digital marketing agency, hired former Oracle customer experience executive, Michael Paige, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). An adept software development leader, Paige will apply his more than 25 years of client partnership experience toward further optimizing R2i’s technology resources so its clients maximize the full potential of their marketing stack. In addition to the award-winning Adobe Solutions Partner’s leadership team, he represents another increase in R2i’s continued investment in equipping marketers with the tools they need to transform the customer experience.

Paige was strategically selected to inject R2i’s existing technical experts with fresh digital perspectives. His proven record of empowering digital agents to outpace emerging industry trends is showcased by increasing the speed at which they transform. Paige most recently worked at Oracle, where he led the customer experience delivery team within the enterprise software company’s North American Applications Consulting unit. Prior to Oracle, he led technology teams at Epsilon, in addition to managing business engagements for some of the global marketing company’s largest clients.

Sarah Goodling, a public relations & social media supervisor at Crosby Marketing Communications, was elected president of the board of directors for the Chesapeake Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

She will also serve as the district representative at regional and national PRSA meetings. She has been on the chapter’s board since 2017, serving two terms as social media chair and then performing a dual role of social media chair and vice president in 2019.
