Maryland News: LTN Acquires Niles Media; Van Eperen Renews MBE/DBE; Warschawski Adds Versant; DPR Promotes Lin

LTN Global, which provides broadcast-quality IP video transport solutions, acquired the Niles Media Group, a Kansas City, Missouri-based company specializing in media content creation and TV remote production. With their combined creative and technical resources, the two companies are positioned to bring the market new efficiencies and robust end-to-end workflows for content production and delivery, according to a release. LTN is based in Savage, Md.

Van Eperen, with offices in North Bethesda and Baltimore, has been renewed by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) as a certified minority business enterprise (MBE) / disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE), which will enable the PR firm to continue to offer high-quality marketing and public relations counsel for transportation projects throughout the state of Maryland. The Maryland MBE DBE communications firm is a Capitol Communicator sponsor.

Warschawski announced that it was selected by Versant Health, a leading national managed eye health and vision plan company, to create and execute integrated direct marketing and digital communications campaigns. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Based in Linthicum Heights, Versant Health is one of the nation’s leading managed vision care companies, serving more than 33 million members nationwide.

DPR Group, Inc., a public relations and marketing agency in Frederick, announced the promotion of Edward Lin to senior account executive. Lin joined DPR Group in 2014 as an account coordinator. Dan Demaree, president and CEO, said, “Edward embodies the best traits of the professional account teams at DPR Group.”
