Ocean City Council members were given presentations from three ad agencies in a closed door session on how the agencies plan to market and attract people to the resort area, according to a report in OC Today.
Attending were representatives from ad agencies: Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based BVK, St. Petersburg, Florida-based Paradise Advertising and Marketing, and Marriner Marketing Communications, Columbia, Maryland.
The three ad agencies – BVK, Paradise, and Marriner – presented “proprietary creatives and negotiable terms” to city officials, the paper reported. The council plans to have a full discussion about the presentations during its next work session on Dec. 14. As part of the FY 22 budget, city officials budgeted $5.5 million for advertising.
