Maryland Updates: Eric Lent to Guru; New Storyfarm video for Andis; Cyphers adds two

Eric Lent has joined Guru as Director, Client Development & Strategic Partnerships. The marketing agency is a bicoastal Certified B Corp focused on purpose-driven brands & organizations. Lent joins from Merrick Towle Creative where he held a similar role.

Storyfarm recently produced a video for the hair care brand Andis that features their partnership with The Grooming Project. They’re a nonprofit in Kansas City that helps struggling parents break the cycle of poverty by teaching them the art of pet grooming… helping them become groomers and salon managers, both in-demand and high-paying professions. The Cyphers Agency in Crofton added Erika Lee as Account Executive and Jacqueline Miller as Public Relations Director. Miller joins from End Hunger In Calvert County where, according to a release, she grew the organization from a concept to an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau. Lee comes from Habitat America, LLC where she was marketing associate.
