Maryland Updates from Unconquered, Planit, SECU, Chesapeake Employers’ and MGH

Unconquered hired Lucy Glaser as director of business development. According to a release, Glaser has been involved with business development and account management since the start of her career at Havas Chicago and RP3 in D.C. Glaser will split her time between Washington D.C. and the Baltimore office in the old National Bohemian Brewery building in Brewers Hill. The agency was co-founded in 2017 by Jonathan Hanson and Brian Schneider.

Planit announced the addition of SECU to its roster of clients, continuing a year of growth in the agency’s 25th year. Planit will work with SECU to execute an integrated brand strategy that reflects the investments SECU is making in its members and its business model, as it strives to be the leading financial institution in Maryland and a continued force in the credit union industry.

With more than $3.6 billion in total U.S. assets, SECU is Maryland’s largest credit union and ranks among the top 60 credit unions nationwide. Becky Smith is chief marketing officer at SECU.

Also at Planit, Liz Borcik returns as Account Director, joining from Anne Arundel Medical Center where she was manager, marketing strategy. Borcik was at Planit prior to joining AAMC in Annapolis.

Claudia Ciolfi has been promoted to Senior Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Chesapeake Employers’​ Insurance Company

New staff additions at MGH: Dan Spivak, digital strategy manager, previously with Jos A. Bank and Men’s Warehouse; Monica Farrah, digital strategist, joining from Marriner Marketing Communications; and Bridget Plunkett, agency marketing associate, previously a marketing assistant with McCormick Taylor, Inc.
